Motivational Speaker, Corporate Trainer, Conference Organizer - Erica's gift has always been public speaking. Someone handed her a microphone at the age of 12 and Erica hasn't surrendered it since. With over 20 years experience in public, political and media relations, Erica has had opportunities people only dream about. (Her favorite was being privately serenaded by Garth Brooks singing "Amazing Grace" while he was walking to a press conference holding her hand).
In 2004 after becoming a military spouse, she became a nationally syndicated travel columnist, blogger and podcaster, and has been interviewed by USAToday, MSNBC and USAA Magazine and others for her expertise in the military leisure travel market. As her family prepares to leave the military life soon, Erica is focusing her attention on Ancestry studies and Genealogy tourism.
Erica has served on the board of directors of various charities throughout the years including her local chapters of the Ronald McDonald House and the American Red Cross. She has continued her education and training in the ever changing landscape of online communications and has become a unique expert in celebrity social media.
Because of her vast and unique experiences, Erica is a sought after public speaker and interview guest. She is currently completing her Master's Degree in Professional Communication at Southern Utah University. In 2021, Erica started an in-depth study of her genealogy and decided to trace the path of her ancestors from a research and travel perspective. Her podcast "The Endless Search" focuses on family research, history, travel and life issues.
Erica is currently living the gypsy life of a military spouse with her Naval Aviator husband Ryan, her sons Sam and Andy, two dogs named Duchess and Bach and a caique parrot named Queso. She is completing her Master's thesis and starting a graduate certificate program at Boston University on Genealogical Studies in 2022.
